Why are some people afraid of monsters?

I am not arguing with this guy. Besides, Vincent Price was super smart, witty as they come, quick with a joke and played with people who dared interview him. We sorely lack people with his super wit and charm. Just watch the following where he explains that he accidentally played a part in a porn movie. Yes he did actually do that, just not the way you think.

There is this human who is backpacking and he stays at this very remote motel. When he is eating he discovers that he is surrounded by werewolves, vampires, zombies and every kind of monster you could think of and then some.

The monsters are very unhappy that a lowly human is invited and want to kill him. Vincent walks over and says something like, take a chill pill my friends. This guy is part of the biggest monsters, monsters so horrible that we can’t even imagine just how awful they are. Then he goes into a short history of humans.

Even when he played in seemingly bad movie or lower quality, lower budget movie, he was always amazing.

The monsters all agree that the human is most assuredly welcome, he is after all a much worse monster than they ever could be. They are even scared of him. What a monster.

How do I write a character’s physical description without it feeling unnatural and clunky? I’m able to describe their hair and body relatively easily because my writing puts emphasis on small movements and fidgeting, but I can’t describe faces.

This is why monsters hide from humans in closets and under beds of the least scary humans in every household. They are terrified and they should be.
